The owner of the UK’s biggest sex doll brothel claims that real life escorts are ‘scared’ he might put them out of business.
The owner of the UK’s biggest sex doll brothel claims that real life escorts are ‘scared’ he might put them out of business.
The 40-year-old, who goes only by the name of Graham, sells made-to-order sex dolls which can be designed to look like a partner, crush or even a celebrity.
Lovedoll UK provide a unique ‘try before you buy’ service, which has been branded the country’s first sex doll ‘brothel’ – meaning that clients can pay £100 to spend quality time with a plastic partner before forking out £2,000 to take her home.
The ‘brothel’, which is situated on an industrial estate in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, in the north east of England, comes complete with a double bed, lubrication, condoms and the manikin.
Graham said:

“I have spoken to escort services before about bringing sex dolls into brothels – but they are scared.
“I don’t know why they are, it may just require more of a vision than they have. It is more efficient – the sex dolls can pretty much run themselves.
“Maybe they just don’t think that it’s viable, or that it would put real life escorts out of business.
“If I found somewhere that was open enough to consider it then I would think about selling them a couple of my dolls.
“70% of guys aren’t bothered that the dolls have been used before. The other 30 would never touch a used doll.”
Graham says it is not just men who take an interest in the lifelike lovers and that many of his customers are women who make purchases in a bid to keep their husbands from cheating.
He added:
“I always knew that sex dolls were going to be normalised.
“Some guys will buy one and some guys will get a whole harem of dolls.
“Some men keep them for 24 hours and sell them straight back but some might keep them for 10 years and get married to them.
“You used to play with dolls as a child. These sex dolls are dolls. Maybe people just like that kind of thing.
“In the future every celebrity – every Kate Winslet – could have a sex doll. It’ll be part of their merchandise.
“A lot of wives buy them for their men to try to stop them cheating or to spice up their sex lives.
“People are falling in love with these dolls – but really they are falling in love with themselves.
“A lot of the time it is more fantasy than reality and they give the personality which they fall in love with – which is often similar to their own.
“There was a guy once who wanted to sneak up on a woman while she was taking her bra off.
“We enabled him to act out this fantasy in a sage environment in which no-one was scared or hurt.

“People might criticise the concept, but if anything, this is a celebration of women. If men were not so enamoured with women they would not want to create dolls in their likeness.”
