Katsina: Former permanent secretary sent to prison for fraud
Yusuf Sule Saulawa, an ex-Permanent Secretary in Katsina has been sentenced to 7 years in prison.

He served in the administration of Ibrahim Shema
Saulawa was tried and sentenced without option of fine for obtaining N2.5m by false pretence.
EFCC announced the sentencing on Friday via its twitter page.
It read: “#Fraud: Yusuf Sule Saulawa, ex-Perm Sec in the Katsina-led administration of Ibrahim Shema has been sentenced to 7 years in prison without option of fine for obtaining N2.5m by false pretence in a fraudulent fertiliser supply deal.”
